For those of you who just can't get enough blogging in your life, i've set up another sketch-blog thing on tumblr HERE.

for the time being i still plan on updating my other blog. I' not quite sure how it'll work yet, but my plan so far is to keep both blogs, with the tumblr being a little more casual with doodles and internet nonsense, and the blogspot blog for more developed work and sketches.

I just realized today that it's been about one year since i made the site. More than anything, i feel guilty for not updating more, lol. There are a couple of new pieces that have been creeping into the Flatwork section. In the next couple of weeks, i'd like to focus on updating things on the site to be a bit more current, so be sure to check back in and see what's new!

If you're on facebook (and even if you're not) you should go and check out the page for a really awesome project i had the opportunity to work on:

Them Greeks...!

Just recently they posted some videos featuring characters I did 2-D designs for. The 3-D modelers and textures artists did an AMAZING job bringing these designs to life. It's the very first time I've gotten the opportunity to do something like this, so i was really giddy when they first went up. I still can't wait for the film itself to be finished. I've had the privilege of following it's progress from the initial story boards/animatic, and i feel confident saying it's going to totally rock!

You can also stop by the film's official website here.

Maxine Iglich and I had a blast at CTN. I think we really bonded, also we agreed never to speak to one another again. Actually, it was really full of totally awesome people. So much talent and inspiration in once place. Also, we had tacos with some pretty famous people. Really really good tacos.

It's going to be time for some revisions the website and content in the very near future, and new stuff on the sketchblog, so, feel free to take a look!

It's been a while, lots of things have happened. I moved back to Portland and have finally given the site a few much needed updates. You can now download a PDF of my flatbook under the Illustration section, and there is a new section to showcase my animations. For now, there is just a little stop-motion animated short. I plan on adding a small reel and perhaps a few other things once things on my end get re-organized.

I'll be heading to Burbank, CA in a few short weeks to attend the Creative Talent Network Animation Expo. My good friend Maxine Iglich will be there with me along with a number of really great industry folks. It should be fun,  and there's quite a list of things to get done before i go. Wish me luck!

Oh yeah

The website has finally gone live!

A few of the pages and things are under construction/undergoing some tweaking, but my new business cards are coming tomorrow and i thought it would probably be a good idea if there was something to look at.

So, tell your friends, tell you kids tell your mom. and keep checkin
